Dr. Alessandro Buriani
Alessandro is presently a Health Care Quality Improvement Advisor and Program Manager in Europe for the enterprise. He assists and coaches health care organizations internationally to improve quality through the use of assessment products and services from AC and HSO.
Alessandro has an Italian Laurea Degree in Pharmacy and was a research fellow in the Department of Pharmacology and the Centre for Neuroscience at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. Following, he was a research scientist at a variety of private and in public research centres, include the Universities of Bologna, Padova, Columbia University, King’s College in London and the Maria Paola Belloni Centre for Personalized Medicine.
His areas of research included pharmacology, neuroscience, personalized medicine and herbal traditional medicines. In addition to his research, Alessandro has also taught several University courses, e-learning and continuing education courses in neuroscience, pharmacology, personalized medicine, biomedical techniques, healthcare safety and healthcare quality. Previous to his role with AC, he worked with “Gruppo Data Medica” (a group of healthcare providers in Padova, Italy), as part of their leadership team, where he oversaw their quality improvement initiatives and management of quality systems.
