Yuliya Shcherbina

Yuliya works with healthcare providers to facilitate the implementation of accreditation and quality improvement programs from Health Assessment Europe (HAE) and their affiliates, Accreditation Canada (AC) and Health Standards Organization (HSO). Yuliya has 10 years of experience in international development, working on a variety of health quality improvement, relationship building, and communications projects. Since joining HAE five years ago, she has initiated and overseen the implementation of several accreditation projects by healthcare organizations located primarily in Southern Europe.

Prior to her current role, Yuliya also worked for the Canadian Stem Cell Foundation, developing and managing relationship building projects between clinicians, scientists and the community. In this role, Yuliya also worked with patients to facilitate knowledge building on advancements in stem cell research and the impact of clinical trials on patient care, both domestically and internationally.

In addition to working in various EU countries and North America, Yuliya is fluent in several languages including English, Italian, French, Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian. Yuliya Shcherbina holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Management in Healthcare.
